Correction and Retraction

Jurnal Bikotetik (Bimbingan dan Konseling; Teori dan Praktik) is committed to maintaining the integrity and reliability of the scholarly record. Any post-publication changes to articles are made only in accordance with established best practices in academic publishing.

An Erratum is issued to correct errors or omissions identified by the authors that do not invalidate the main findings of the article. The original article remains accessible online, and the erratum is published as a separate notice linked to the corrected article and made freely available to readers.

A Retraction is issued when an article is found to be unreliable due to misconduct, serious error, plagiarism, duplicate publication, or unethical research practices. Retracted articles are not removed from the journal archive; instead, a retraction notice explaining the reason for the action and responsibility for the decision is published and linked to the original article. Retractions may be initiated by the authors, editors, or the publisher in accordance with editorial judgment and COPE Guidelines.

A Publisher’s Note may be issued to correct significant typographical or production errors attributable to the publisher that affect article metadata or readers’ understanding. In exceptional cases involving legal or ethical violations, the publisher may redact or remove an article while retaining its bibliographic record to preserve the integrity of the scholarly archive.
