About the Journal

Jurnal Bikotetik (Bimbingan dan Konseling: Teori dan Praktik) is a peer-reviewed, open-access, interdisciplinary scholarly journal published twice a year, in May and November. The journal is a registered member of Crossref with the DOI prefix 10.26740 and holds the online ISSN 2580-5827.

The journal is developed through a collaborative partnership between Universitas Negeri Surabaya and the Indonesian Guidance and Counseling Association (ABKIN). It is managed by the Guidance and Counseling Study Program, Faculty of Education, Universitas Negeri Surabaya.

Jurnal Bikotetik serves as a platform for ongoing scholarly discussion on current and relevant issues in the field of guidance and counseling that can be examined empirically. The journal publishes research articles focusing on theoretical development, evidence-based interventions, and innovative practices in guidance and counseling, particularly within educational and psychological contexts.

We invite researchers, academics, practitioners, and scholars with an interest in guidance and counseling to contribute and share their best work through publication in Jurnal Bikotetik (Bimbingan and Counseling: Theory and Practice).
