Article Processing Charge

Jurnal Bikotetik (Bimbingan dan Konseling: Teori dan Praktik) is a fully open-access journal that aims to promote global accessibility and visibility for the professional and scholarly community, as well as the wider public. To support this objective, the journal applies an Article Processing Charge (APC), which may be covered by authors, their affiliated institutions, or funding bodies for each article accepted for publication.

No fees are charged during the submission or peer review stages. The APC is applied only after the manuscript has been accepted through the editorial decision process and prior to publication. The APC is set at USD 21 or IDR 350,000 (excluding a 15% bank transfer fee).

Once an article is accepted, the corresponding author will be notified of the payment procedure along with the editorial acceptance decision. Payment must be completed within 14 days of acceptance. Please note that the journal is unable to publish accepted articles until full payment has been received. Authors are strongly encouraged to secure funding for the APC prior to submission, rather than after acceptance. All APC payments are non-refundable.

In addition, the journal offers an optional Fast-Track Review Service for authors who require an accelerated peer review and publication process. This service is intended for time-sensitive research or manuscripts with urgent academic deadlines. The Fast-Track Review fee is USD 51 or IDR 850,000 (excluding a 15% bank transfer fee).
