Factors related to sexual relations include parent-adolescent relationships, self-esteem, peer pressure, religiosity, exposure to pornographic media , but there is still very little research on the quality of parental care for adolescents. This research uses quantitative methods. The scale used in this research is the scale of parenting quality and premarital sexual behavior. The subjects in this research were 100 teenagers from the Palu'e tribe who were taken using the purposive sampling method. The reliability value of the parenting quality scale is 0.859 and the premarital sexual behavior scale is 0.947. Another result is that premarital sexual behavior is in the high category at 52%, in the medium category at 39% and in the low category at 9%. This means that most teenagers behave sexually before marriage in the high category. The data analysis technique uses Sperm Rank correlation. The results of this study show that there is a negative relationship between parenting quality and premarital sexual behavior with a correlation coefficient of -0.255 at a significant level (p) of 0.010 < (0.05). This shows that the higher the level of parenting quality, the lower the premarital sexual behavior
Maria Nona Nancy, Monika Marganingsi Tunga, Epifania Margaretha Ladapase, Hengky Damila Copyright (c) 2024 http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://journal.unesa.ac.id/index.php/jbk/article/view/31722 Sat, 01 Jun 2024 00:00:00 +0700 REDUCING INSECURITY THROUGH CLASSICAL GUIDANCE SERVICES WITH GAME BASED LEARNING METHOD AND CARD GAME MEDIA https://journal.unesa.ac.id/index.php/jbk/article/view/31248
Based on the preliminary study at SMP Negeri Salatiga, it was found that the level of self-confidence was in the low criteria, in this case one aspect of self-confidence is insecurity. This study aims to reduce insecurity in students through classical guidance services with game-based learning methods and game card media. This research uses mixed methods or a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods with a sequential explanatory model, which begins with quantitative data collection as a general description of the level of insecurity and is strengthened by qualitative data as further explanation through observations and interviews. The subjects in this study used all students in class VIII F SMP Negeri Salatiga who became the target class in conducting classical guidance. Based on quantitative results, it is known that the classical guidance model is proven to reduce insecurity in students. This is indicated by a change in the decrease before (pre-test) and after (post-test) given services of 15.7%. The output significance result = 0.00 < 5%, so it means that the pre-test average is different from the post-test average. Reinforced by observations and interviews which show that the condition of students has been able to accept themselves and be able to encourage themselves to appear when presenting in front of the class. So that the classical guidance model with the game-based learning method and game card media can be used as an alternative in reducing insecurity in students.
Dardaniela Yosi Wardhani, Yari Dwikurnaningsih Copyright (c) 2024 http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://journal.unesa.ac.id/index.php/jbk/article/view/31248 Tue, 28 May 2024 00:00:00 +0700 THE INFLUENCE OF GROUP GUIDANCE SERVICES SYMBOLIC MODELING TECHNIQUE ON CAREER PLANNING OF STUDENTS IN CLASS VII JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL SABRANG AMBULU https://journal.unesa.ac.id/index.php/jbk/article/view/29759
Experimental research was conducted to determine the effect of using symbolic modeling by providing Guidance Group services related to student career planning. This study used a quantitative approach as a pre-experiment using a one group pre-test post-test design model. The subjects investigated were 65 grade VII students of JHS Sabrang Ambulu, who were divided into two study groups. Purposive sampling is a sample preparation technique that uses questionnaire criteria based on class intervals. The data collection method uses questionnaires or questionnaires that are adjusted based on career planning indicators. The results of Wilcoxon's hypothesis analysis show that there is a difference between the pre- and post-test results with a significance level of 0.005 (Asymp.Sig.(2-tailed) < 0.05), meaning (Ha) true and (Ho) false. This shows that there is a significant change in career planning after being given symbolic modeling services.
Yurike Kinanthy Karamoy, Andico Adi Permadani, Fakhruddin Mutakin Copyright (c) 2024 http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://journal.unesa.ac.id/index.php/jbk/article/view/29759 Mon, 27 May 2024 00:00:00 +0700 DEVELOPMENT OF SELF HELP BOOK ON MINDFULNESS TECHNIQUES IN OVERCOMING ACADEMIC STRESS OF FINAL YEAR STUDENTS https://journal.unesa.ac.id/index.php/jbk/article/view/29518
Stress is a common problem among students, especially in academic environments.
