Persepsi Terhadap Kohesivitas Kelompok Kerja dengan Intensi Turnover Pada Pramuniaga

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between perception of work group cohesiveness with turnover intention. The subjects were 154 sales associate of PT X who were chosen based on the following characteristics: the employees have worked for more than four months, and their status are contract employees . Data collected using group cohesiveness and turnover intention scales. The reliability of 32 items turnover intention scale was 0.94, whaile the 48 items group cohesiveness scale got the reliability coefficient of 0.93. the result of data analysis using Pearsons Product Moment shows the correlation coefficient of -0.263 with significance value (p) = 0.002 < 0.05. it can be concluded from the result that there is a negative relationship between perception of work group cohesiveness and the turnover intention among sales associate PT X.
Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sebesar apa hubungan antara persepsi terhadap kohesivitas kelompok dengan intensi turnover. Subjek penelitian adalah Pramuniaga PT X. Sampel yang diambil berjumlah 154 karyawan dengan ciri-ciri Pramuniaga telah bekerja selama lebih dari empat bulan dan berstatus karyawan kontrak dengan menggunakan teknik incidental sampling. Pengambilan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan skala. Pada skala intensi turnover dihasilkan koefisien reliabilitas sebesar 0,94 dan dari 42 item didapatkan 38 item yang valid. Pada skala kohesivitas kelompok dihasilkan koefisien reliabilitas sebesar 0,93 dan dari 48 item didapatkan 39 item yang valid. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan negatif antara kohesivitas kelompok dengan intensi turnover pada Pramuniaga PT X. Nilai koefisien korelasi Product Moment sebesar -0,263 dengan signifikansi (p)= 0,002 < 0,05.
