This increasing adversity level must be followed by high adaptation competence. Students must have the endurance to adapt positively in facing difficult situations, called resilience. Mindset influences students' responses and ways of facing challenges or adversities. However, few studies have explored the relationship between mindset and resilience. <strong>Objective: </strong>Aim to examine the correlation between mindset and resilience in 12th grade students in SMAN 5 Surakarta. <strong>Method: </strong>This study was conducted with 196 students from 12th grade in SMAN 5 Surakarta, obtained through simple random sampling in October 2023. Resilience was measured using the Resilience Scale (r=0.902) and mindset was measured using the Mindset Scale (r=0.801). To analyze the data, the assumption tests, Pearson’s correlation, descriptive statistics, and Independent Sample t-test were used. <strong>Results: </strong>Out of the total data from 196 students, only 190 students met the criteria to continue. The data obtained was proven to have a normal distribution and a linear correlation. Then, the finding of Pearson’s correlation was shown that mindset and resilience have a significant positive relationship (r=0.372; p&lt;0.05). The relationship that occurs is relatively low and mindset determines resilience by 13.8% (r²=0.138). The findings also revealed that male students have higher resilience than female students (M<sub>difference</sub>= 3.478; p&lt;0.05). <strong>Conclusion: </strong>The results of this study imply that the more students have a growth mindset, the higher their resilience.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Abstrak</strong></p> <p><strong>Latar Belakang:</strong> Siswa yang berada dalam tahun terakhir di SMA menghadapi tuntutan akademik dan sosial yang semakin tinggi. Tantangan yang semakin meningkat ini harus diikuti oleh kompetensi adaptasi yang tinggi. Siswa harus memiliki daya tahan untuk beradaptasi secara positif dalam menghadapi situasi sulit atau disebut resiliensi. <em>Mindset </em>mampu memengaruhi respons dan cara siswa dalam menghadapi tantangan ataupun kesulitan. Namun, penelitian tentang korelasi antara <em>mindset </em>dengan resiliensi masih terbatas. <strong>Tujuan: </strong>Untuk mengetahui hubungan antara <em>mindset </em>dengan resiliensi pada siswa kelas XII SMAN 5 Surakarta. <strong>Metode: </strong>Penelitian ini melibatkan 190 siswa kelas XII SMAN 5 Surakarta yang diperoleh melalui <em>simple random sampling</em> pada Oktober 2023. Resiliensi diukur menggunakan Skala Resiliensi (r=0.902) dan <em>mindset</em> diukur dengan Skala <em>Mindset </em>(r=0.801). Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji asumsi dasar, korelasi Pearson, statistik deskriptif, dan <em>Independent Sample t-test</em>. <strong>Hasil: </strong>Dari 196 data terkumpul, hanya 190 data yang bisa dilanjutkan untuk dianalisis. Data terbukti memenuhi syarat normalitas dan linearitas. Berdasarkan uji korelasi <em>product moment Pearson</em>, dibuktikan bahwa <em>mindset </em>dan resiliensi memiliki hubungan positif yang signifikan (r=0.372; p&lt;0.05). Hubungan yang terjadi tergolong rendah dan <em>mindset </em>menentukan resiliensi sebesar 13.8% (r²=0.138). The lack of work engagement of the millennial generation can cause them to be less satisfied with their jobs. Meanwhile, employee job satisfaction is important for every company because it can have an impact on individual and organizational performance. <strong>Objective: </strong>This research aims to determine the influence of altruism and work engagement on job satisfaction of the millennial generation. <strong>Method:</strong> Respondents were 100 millennial workers born between 1981 and 1996. The research instrument is an online questionnaire using a Likert scale with five answer choices. Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling was chosen as the data analysis method. <strong>Results:</strong> Altruism and work engagement each have a significant positive effect on job satisfaction. <strong>Conclusion:</strong> This research contributes to efforts to increase job satisfaction of the millennial generation through factors such as altruism and work engagement. Further research can be limited to certain industries or sectors to see the consistency of research results.<br /><br /><strong>Abstrak<br /></strong><br /><strong>Latar Belakang:</strong> Generasi milenial memiliki karakteristik yaitu tidak merasa terikat dengan pekerjaanya. Kurangnya keterikatan kerja dari generasi milenial dapat menyebabkan mereka kurang puas dengan pekerjaanya. Sementara itu kepuasan kerja karyawan penting untuk dimiliki setiap perusahaan karena dapat berdampak terhadap kinerja individu maupun organisasi. <strong>Tujuan:</strong> Penelitian ini bertujuan guna mengetahui pengaruh altruism dan work engagement terhadap kepuasan kerja generasi milenial. <strong>Metode</strong>: Responden ialah 100 pekerja milenial yang lahir antara tahun 1981 sampai 1996. Metode pengambilan sampel dipilih secara <em>convenience sampling</em> dan termasuk ke dalam kategori <em>non probability sampling</em>. Data diperoleh melalui googleform dengan yang disebar melalui whatsapp, linkedin, dan facebook. PLS SEM dipilih sebagai metode analisis data. <strong>Hasil</strong>: Altruism dan work engagement masing-masing berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. <strong>Kesimpulan</strong>: Penelitian ini berkontribusi bagi upaya meningkatkan kepuasan kerja generasi milenial melalui faktor-faktor seperti <em>altruism</em> dan <em>work engagement</em>. At TPA (Quranic Education Center) Uswatun Khasanah Banyusidi, Pakis, Magelang, students also encounter issues with concentration and focus in their studies. <strong>Objective:</strong> This study aims to achieve several objectives: (1) assess the level of a child's learning concentration, (2) explore how psychoeducation, using storytelling, movement games, and songs, can improve a child’s concentration, and and (3) evaluate the effectiveness of psychoeducation in enhancing a child’s learning concentration. <strong>Method:</strong> The research adopts a classroom action research design, comprising two cycles. The process involves planning, implementing interventions, observing outcomes, and reflecting on results. <strong>Results:</strong> After Cycle 1, 41.02% of children met the expected development criteria, increasing to 79.48% in Cycle 2, with 53.84% meeting expected development and 25.64% demonstrating excellent progress. <strong>Conclusion:</strong> The use of psychoeducation through storytelling, movement, and songs at TPA (Quranic Education Center) Uswatun Khasanah Dayugo has successfully improved children’s learning concentration in each session.<br /><br /><strong>Abstrak</strong><br /><br /></p> <p><strong>Latar Belakang:</strong> Anak mungkin mengalami kesulitan dalam menjaga konsentrasi saat pembelajaran, faktor yang berbeda-beda pada setiap individu. Di TPA (Pusat Pendidikan Al-Quran) Uswatun Khasanah Banyusidi, Pakis, Magelang, siswa juga mengalami kendala konsentrasi dan fokus dalam belajar. <strong>Tujuan:</strong> Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencapai beberapa tujuan: (1) menilai tingkat konsentrasi belajar anak, (2) mengeksplorasi bagaimana psikoedukasi, dengan menggunakan bercerita, permainan gerak, dan lagu, dapat meningkatkan konsentrasi anak, dan (3) mengevaluasi efektivitas psikoedukasi dalam meningkatkan konsentrasi belajar anak. <strong>Metode:</strong> Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian tindakan kelas, yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Communication difficulties experienced by adolescents with language disorders can increase the risk of feeling anxious in social situations and having fewer peer relations. Therefore, interventions are needed that can optimize communication skills. <strong>Objective:</strong> The aim of this research is to find out whether modeling and behavior rehearsal can improve communication skills in adolescent with language disorder. <strong>Method</strong>: This research is a quantitative research that uses single subject ABA design. The participant is a 14-year-old girl with language disorder. There are 4 skills that are taught &amp; observed, such as giving comments, asking relevant questions, asking the other person's opinion, and paying attention to the other person's attitude while speaking. <strong>Results</strong>: All communication skills is increasing, including ask the other person's opinion and provide comments that match with the topic. <strong>Conclusion</strong>: This proves that modeling and behavior rehearsal are effective in improving adolescent's communication skills with language disorder.<br /><br /><strong>Abstrak</strong><br /><br /><strong>Latar Belakang:</strong> Remaja dengan <em>language disorder</em> memiliki hambatan yang signifikan dalam berbahasa di berbagai situasi dan itu berdampak pada kemampuan komunikasi. Kesulitan berkomunikasi yang dialami remaja dengan <em>language disorder</em> dapat meningkatkan risiko merasa cemas dalam situasi sosial dan memiliki sedikit relasi teman sebaya. Karena itu, dibutuhkan intervensi yang bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan kemampuan komunikasi saat berinteraksi sosial, seperti bertanya dan memberi komentar. <strong>Tujuan:</strong> Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah penerapan teknik <em>modeling</em> &amp; <em>behavior rehearsal</em> dapat meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi pada remaja yang mengalami <em>language disorder</em>. <strong>Metode</strong>: Penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain <em>single subject</em> <em>research </em>ABA. Social media has both positive and negative effects on a teenager's life. This is because teenagers are often unable to control their use of social media. <strong>Objective:</strong> The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of social anxiety (X1) and social comparison (X2) on social media addiction. <strong>Method:</strong> This study uses a correlational quantitative approach. The sample in this study consisted of young Korean pop music fans who actively used social media. As many as 377 samples were employed using a purposive sampling technique. The analysis technique in this study uses multiple linear regression analysis. <strong>Results: </strong>The results in this study, namely social anxiety and social comparison, have a significant positive effect on social media addiction. <strong>Conclusion: </strong>The research results also found that simultaneously the variables Social Anxiety and Social Comparison have a significant effect on Social Media Addiction.<br /><br /><strong>Abstrak</strong></p> <p><strong>Latar Belakang: </strong>Media sosial telah menjadi bagian penting dari kehidupan sebagian besar individu dengan berbagai kalangan usia. Media sosial memiliki efek positif dan negative pada kehidupan remaja. Hal ini disebabkan oleh fakta bahwa remaja seringkali tidak dapat mengendalikan penggunaan media sosial mereka. Remaja yang terjerat kecanduan media sosial cenderung sangat bergantung pada platform tersebut, bahkan rela mengorbankan banyak waktu demi mewujudkan keinginannya. <strong>Tujuan:</strong> Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh <em>social anxiety </em>(X1) dan <em>social comparison </em>(X2) terhadap <em>social media addiction</em>. <strong>Metode: </strong>Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah remaja penggemar musik Korean pop yang aktif menggunakan sosial media sebanyak 377 sampel dengan menggunakan teknik <em>purposive sampling</em>. Parenting is influenced by economic conditions, including in Pre-Prosperous Families (PPS). <strong>Objective:</strong> To explore and describe parenting in PPS on the independence of CwSL. <strong>Method</strong>: Qualitative with a focus on case studies with data collection in the form of interviews, observations and documentation. The research subjects were two pairs of parents of MRC in PPS with the extended family analysis unit. The data analysis is pattern matching, explanation and time series analysis. Transferability test with data triangulation. <strong>Results</strong>: Not all parents know the obstacles and parenting methods for MRC due to busy work and lack of knowledge due to low educational background. A child's obstacles and needs can be detected from the teacher's recommendations for further examination. <strong>Conclusion</strong>: Children's social independence appears to better involve grandmothers when parents work. However, children's social development can also improve when parents receive therapy from PLDPI.<br /><br /><strong>Abstrak</strong><br /><br /><strong>Latar Belakang:</strong> Keterbatasan anak lamban belajar (CwSL) membuat mereka bergantung pada orang lain sehingga dapat ditingkatkan kemampuannya melalui pendidikan di sekolah dan pola asuh orang tua di rumah. Pola asuh orang tua dipengaruhi oleh kondisi perekonomian, termasuk pada Keluarga Pra Sejahtera (PPS). <strong>Tujuan:</strong> Untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan pola asuh di PPS tentang kemandirian CwSL. <strong>Metode:</strong> Kualitatif dengan fokus studi kasus dengan pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Subyek penelitian adalah dua pasang orang tua MRC di PPS dengan unit analisis keluarga besar. Analisis data yang dilakukan adalah pencocokan pola, penjelasan dan analisis deret waktu. Uji transferabilitas dengan triangulasi data. <strong>Hasil:</strong> Tidak semua orang tua mengetahui kendala dan metode pengasuhan MRC karena kesibukan pekerjaan dan kurangnya pengetahuan akibat rendahnya latar belakang pendidikan. Kendala dan kebutuhan seorang anak dapat diketahui dari rekomendasi guru untuk dilakukan pemeriksaan lebih lanjut. <strong>Kesimpulan:</strong> Kemandirian sosial anak nampaknya lebih melibatkan nenek ketika orang tua bekerja. Flourishing individuals have high levels of well-being based on hedonic and eudaimonic well-being perspectives. Flourishing is a developing concept that has yet to be widely studied in positive psychology.</span></strong></h2> <h2 style="margin-left: 0cm; text-align: justify;"><strong><span style="font-weight: normal;">Objective:&nbsp;This literature review aims to trace the development of theoretical concepts and scales that can be used to research the flourishing variable further.</span></strong></h2> <h2 style="margin-left: 0cm; text-align: justify;"><strong><span style="font-weight: normal;">Methods:&nbsp;This research uses a literature review, which involves searching reputable journals for articles related to the concept and scale of flourishing.</span></strong></h2> <h2 style="margin-left: 0cm; text-align: justify;"><strong><span style="font-weight: normal;">Results:&nbsp;The PERMA concept introduced by Seligman is the primary literature that forms the foundation for examining flourishing by combining two theories. The last ten years have also seen many disasters in several areas. The reason is climate change which has an impact on erratic weather. This study aims to determine the effect of knowledge of disaster risk on perceptions of climate change in college students. Quantitative research method with 101 student subjects. The measurement tools used are disaster risk knowledge and climate change perceptions. The results of the study show that there is a relationship between knowledge of disaster risk and perceptions of climate change among college students. The effective contribution shows 39.3%, meaning that disaster risk knowledge contributes 39.3% to climate change perceptions, and 69.7% is influenced by other factors. The results also show that students' knowledge of disaster risk is low and students' perceptions of climate change are negative. The results of this study are important as a basis for making interventions in the form of more effective and massive education for students about disaster risk.</p> Islakhul Muttaqin Prita Febriani Copyright (c) 2024 http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 2024-06-29 2024-06-29 15 02 208 217 10.26740/jptt.v15n02.p208-217 The Relationship Between Addiction to the Online Game Mobile Legends Bang-Bang (MLBB) and Sleep Quality in Teenagers https://journal.unesa.ac.id/index.php/jptt/article/view/29952 <p><strong>Background:</strong> Teenagers in Padang City have a high interest in online games, especially Mobile Legends Bang-Bang. <strong>Objective:</strong> The aim of research was to determine the relationship between online game addiction and sleep quality in teenagers of Padang. <strong>Method:</strong> A correlational quantitative approach was used for this research. The sample used 300 teenagers using purposive sampling technique. The sleep quality measuring tool by Buysse et.al (1989) contains 10 items consisting of 18 subjective questions and 6 observational questions. The online game addiction measuring tool contains 21 items with 3 questions for each aspect. Data analysis used Spearman’s technique because the data distribution was not normal but linear for both variables. <strong>Result:</strong> The results show a significant relationship between online game addiction and sleep quality in teenagers, with p = 0.001 (&lt; 0.05). <strong>Conclusion:</strong> Thus, it can be concluded that the higher the level of online game addiction in teenagers, the lower the sleep quality they experience. This research also found differences in the level of online game addiction and sleep quality in terms of gender.<br /><br /><strong>Abstrak</strong></p> <p><strong>Latar Belakang:</strong> Remaja di Kota Padang memiliki minat yang tinggi pada game online khususnya Mobile Legends Bang-Bang. <strong>Tujuan:</strong> Tujuan penelitian dilakukan adalah mengetahui hubungan kecanduan game online dengan sleep quality pada remaja di Kota Padang. <strong>Metode:</strong> Pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional digunakan untuk penelitian ini. Sampel digunakan sebanyak 300 remaja melalui teknik purposive sampling. Alat ukur sleep quality oleh Buysse et.al (1989) terdapat 10 item terdiri 18 pertanyaan subjektif dan 6 pertanyaan observatif. Alat ukur kecanduan game online memiliki 21 item dengan 3 pertanyaan pada tiap aspek. Analisis data menggunakan teknik Spearman karena distribusi data tidak normal tetapi linier pada kedua variabel. <strong>Hasil:</strong> Hasil menunjukkan adanya hubungan signifikan antara kecanduan game online dan sleep quality pada remaja, dengan nilai p=0,001 (&lt; 0,05). <strong>Kesimpulan:</strong> Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa makin tinggi tingkat kecanduan game online pada remaja, maka makin rendah sleep quality yang mereka alami.
