Author Guidelines

JDMP welcomes original scholarly manuscripts within the scope of educational management, leadership, administration, and policy. Authors should read the journal's aims, ethical policies, and manuscript template before submitting through OJS.

Before submission

  • Ensure the manuscript is original, has not been formally published elsewhere, and is not under consideration by another journal. Disclose any related preprint, thesis, conference paper, or earlier research output.
  • Confirm that every listed author meets the authorship criteria and has approved the submitted version and author order.
  • Obtain research ethics approval, exemption, permissions, or informed consent when applicable, and report the relevant details in the manuscript.
  • Prepare conflict-of-interest, funding, data-availability, and AI-use declarations as applicable.
  • Remove identifying details from the reviewer-facing file to the extent required by the journal's blind-review workflow.

Manuscript preparation

Use the current JDMP manuscript template and a consistent academic English writing style. The OJS submission checklist currently requests a word-processing file, single spacing, an 11-point font, and figures or tables placed in the relevant location in the main text. Manuscripts should be clear, internally consistent, and suitable for external peer review.

A research article should ordinarily contain a descriptive title, author metadata (submitted separately as required for blind review), abstract, keywords, introduction, methods, results, discussion, conclusions, acknowledgements or declarations where relevant, and references. Other manuscript types may adopt an appropriate structure aligned with their methodology and contribution.

References, tables, and figures

Cite all sources accurately and consistently according to the current JDMP template. Supply DOIs or stable URLs where available; verify that each citation corresponds to an entry in the reference list. Tables and figures must be numbered, captioned, discussed in the text, and either original or reused with appropriate permission. References must not be fabricated.

Submission and revision

Submit manuscripts through the OJS submission portal (https://journal.unesa.ac.id/index.php/jdmp/about/submissions). Where revisions are requested, provide (1) the revised manuscript and (2) a point-by-point response explaining how comments were addressed. Editorial correspondence must be conducted through the authorised journal workflow or official contact channels.
