Objectives and Scope

JDMP (Jurnal Dinamika Manajemen Pendidikan) (e-ISSN 2540-7880) is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal published by the Department of Educational Management, Faculty of Education, Universitas Negeri Surabaya, in collaboration with the Indonesian Association of Educational Management and Administration Scholars (ISMAPI). The journal provides a forum for research, critical analysis, and scholarly discussion on educational management, leadership, administration, and policy across formal and non-formal educational settings.

Aims

JDMP aims to advance theoretically informed and methodologically sound scholarship that contributes to understanding and improving educational organisations, governance, leadership, policy, and management practices. Manuscripts should articulate a clear contribution to educational management rather than merely describe an educational activity.

Scope

The journal welcomes studies relevant to:

  • Educational leadership, supervision, organisational behaviour, and school culture.
  • Strategic planning, educational governance, quality assurance, and institutional effectiveness.
  • Curriculum, teaching and learning management, and educational assessment from a management perspective.
  • Human resource management, teacher and staff development, and professional learning.
  • Educational finance, budgeting, facilities, infrastructure, and student services.
  • Educational policy formulation, implementation, evaluation, and change management.
  • Technology-enabled educational management, digital leadership, and organisational transformation.
  • Management of schools, higher education institutions, and other educational organisations.

Editorial consideration

Submissions may employ quantitative, qualitative, mixed-methods, case-study, review, conceptual, or policy-analysis approaches where appropriate. Studies are evaluated for relevance, originality, methodological rigour, ethical compliance, clarity, and the significance of their contribution. Manuscripts outside the educational management scope may be declined during initial screening.
