Tubuh sebagai Tanda: Tinjauan Literatur Sistematis tentang Penelitian Pantomim dalam Komunikasi Visual

Abstrak

Studi ini bertujuan untuk mensintesis lanskap penelitian pantomim yang terfragmentasi dengan memposisikan tubuh sebagai sistem tanda utama dalam kerangka komunikasi visual. Dengan menggunakan Tinjauan Literatur Sistematis (SLR) yang dipandu oleh pernyataan PRISMA 2020, 25 artikel yang ditinjau sejawat yang diterbitkan antara tahun 2010 dan 2025 diidentifikasi, disaring, dan dianalisis. Sintesis tematik mengungkapkan bahwa penelitian pantomim berkembang di lima tema yang saling terkait: komunikasi evolusioner, semiotika tubuh, kognisi yang terwujud, komunikasi visual multimodal, dan budaya visual performatif. Berdasarkan temuan ini, makalah ini mengusulkan Kerangka Tubuh sebagai Tanda, yang menguraikan lima dimensi kritis yaitu representasional, semiotik, kognitif, multimodal, dan performatif-kultural, untuk menjelaskan bagaimana tubuh secara independen membangun narasi visual. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada bidang komunikasi visual dengan menggeser paradigma analitis dari memandang tubuh hanya sebagai alat nonverbal menjadi mengakui tubuh sebagai lokus semiotika visual yang independen. Kerangka kerja ini menawarkan landasan teoretis yang signifikan untuk desain media kontemporer, budaya digital, dan interaksi manusia-komputer.
