Post-Publication Discussion

JRPD (Jurnal Review Pendidikan Dasar: Jurnal Kajian Pendidikan dan Hasil Penelitian) encourages continuous academic discourse, constructive scientific critiques, and scholarly debate regarding articles published in the journal. Post-publication discussion is essential for maintaining scientific transparency, clarifying complex educational findings, and promoting further research in elementary education.

  1. Mechanisms for Post-Publication Discussion
  • Letter to the Editor: Readers, researchers, and educational practitioners who wish to comment on, critique, or build upon a published paper may submit a formal Letter to the Editor.
  • Author Response: Upon receiving a credible and scientifically grounded Letter to the Editor, the Editorial Board will invite the original authors of the cited paper to submit a formal Author Response.
  • Joint Publication: If approved by the Editorial Board, both the Letter to the Editor and the corresponding Author Response will be published together in an upcoming issue of JRPD to ensure a balanced and transparent scholarly debate.
  1. Submission Guidelines for Feedback
  • Academic Focus: Comments must center strictly on scientific arguments, methodological execution, empirical data interpretation, or theoretical validity. Personal, non-academic, or unconstructive criticism will not be entertained.
  • Citation Requirement: Submissions must explicitly reference the title, author(s), publication year, volume, issue, and Digital Object Identifier (DOI) of the original JRPD article.
  • Format and Length: Manuscripts should be concise (typically between 500 and 1,500 words), formatted according to the journal's standard layout, and supported by relevant primary academic literature.
  • Editorial Evaluation: All post-publication contributions undergo initial screening by the Editorial Board. In cases of significant empirical or technical disputes, the commentary may be subjected to independent double-blind peer review.
