Open Access Policy

JRPD (Jurnal Review Pendidikan Dasar: Jurnal Kajian Pendidikan dan Hasil Penelitian) is committed to full, immediate, and unrestricted open-access publishing. All articles are published in accordance with the principles of the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI).

Core Open Access Principles

  1. Immediate Free Access: All published manuscripts are made freely available on the journal website immediately upon publication. Readers do not require a paid subscription, institutional login, or user registration to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of all articles.
  2. Global Knowledge Dissemination: By removing financial, legal, and technical barriers to educational research, JRPD aims to support a broader global exchange of knowledge, fostering innovation, teacher professional development, and policy advancement in primary education.
  3. No Paywalls: There are no embargo periods, paywalls, or article access fees charged to readers or libraries.

Licensing and Archiving

  1. Creative Commons Licensing: All open-access articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0), allowing non-commercial sharing, adaptation, and distribution with proper attribution.
  2. Digital Preservation: To ensure permanent open access and long-term digital preservation, published articles are deposited and archived across international digital repositories, including LOCKSS, CLOCKSS, and the institutional repository of Universitas Negeri Surabaya (UNESA).
