Abstract

The purposes of this study is to determine the role of competitiveness toward online drivers motivation. The hypotheses of this study is the competitiveness has a role to motivation. The participants for the research was 120 online drivers in Palembang City and the study used quota sample technique. The scales used were the scales of competitiveness and motivation. The data were analyzed using simple regression. The result showed that there is a significant role of competitiveness toward motivation with r = 0,397; F = 22,046 ; p = 0,000 (p <0.05). Thus, the hypothesis of this study is accepted.

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui peran daya saing terhadap motivasi. Hipotesis penelitian yaitu daya saing memiliki peran terhadap motivasi. Responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 120 orang pengemudi online di Kota Palembang. Penelitian menggunakan teknik sampel kuota. Skala yang digunakan yaitu skala daya saing dan motivasi. Analisis data menggunakan regresi sederhana. Hasil analisis regresi menunjukkan bahwa daya saing memiliki peran yang signifikan terhadap motivasi dengan nilai r=0,397; F=22,046 dan p=0,000 (p<0,05). Dengan demikian hipotesis pada penelitian ini diterima.
