PENGARUH KEMAMPUAN MENGATASI KESULITAN BELAJAR (COPING SELF-EFFICACY) TERHADAP PRESTASI AKADEMIK MAHASISWA

Artikel ini adalah hasil penelitian pada 130 mahasiswa semester tiga, fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan di Universitas Negeri Surabaya. Coping self-efficacy sebagai variabel bebas, dan indeks prestasi akademik dan kemampuan skolastik sebagai variabel terikat. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya pengaruh signifikan coping self-efficacy dengan prestasi akademik mahasiswa di FIP UNESA dengan nilai standardized beta = 0,203 pada taraf signifikansi 0,000 yang berarti bahwa coping self efficacy (X) mempengaruhi prestasi akademik mahasiswa (Y1). Temuan kedua, menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan coping self-efficacy terhadap kemampuan skolastik mahasiswa dengan nilai standardized beta = 0,188 pada taraf signifikansi 0,000 yang berarti coping self-efficacy (X) mempengaruhi kemampuan skolastik mahasiswa (Y2).
