JOURNAL OWNERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT
1. Publisher and Institutional Affiliation
JPEKA: Jurnal Pendidikan Ekonomi, Manajemen dan Keuangan is published by Universitas Negeri Surabaya (UNESA), in collaboration with the Asosiasi Profesi Pendidik Ekonomi Indonesia (ASPROPENDO). The journal is managed within the academic environment of the Department of Economic Education, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Negeri Surabaya. Information about the journal and its publishing activities is available through the official JPEKA website:
Journal website: https://journal.unesa.ac.id/index.php/jpeka/index
Universitas Negeri Surabaya provides the institutional and publishing framework for JPEKA. In coordination with the relevant academic unit and ASPROPENDO, the publisher supports the infrastructure and administrative arrangements needed for journal operations, including the online journal platform, publication processes, and related services that sustain scholarly publishing.
2. Journal Management
The scholarly and editorial management of JPEKA is carried out by its Editorial Team under the leadership of the Editor-in-Chief. The team oversees manuscript submissions, coordinates peer review, evaluates manuscripts, makes publication decisions, and implements the journal’s editorial and publication policies.
Reviewers provide independent scholarly evaluations of submitted manuscripts in accordance with JPEKA’s peer-review procedures and Publication Ethics policy. Editorial decisions are informed by reviewer assessments and the Editorial Team’s evaluation of the manuscript’s scholarly quality, relevance, and compliance with applicable publication standards.
3. Editorial Independence
The publisher’s institutional role does not give it authority to determine the editorial outcome of an individual manuscript. Decisions to accept, request revisions to, or reject a submission, as well as appropriate post-publication actions concerning published articles, are made by the Editor-in-Chief and/or the Editor assigned to the manuscript. Decisions are based on scholarly quality and suitability, peer-review assessments, research integrity, and compliance with JPEKA’s editorial and publication policies.
The publisher does not interfere with the independent assessment of individual submissions and must not require Editors to make decisions based on commercial, institutional, personal, or other interests unrelated to scholarly and ethical considerations. Editorial decisions are expected to remain impartial and consistent with the journal’s publication-ethics principles.
