JOURNAL INDEPENDENCE AND INTEGRITY STATEMENT
JPEKA: Jurnal Pendidikan Ekonomi, Manajemen dan Keuangan is committed to conducting its editorial and publishing activities independently, professionally, and with integrity. The journal does not engage with third parties that offer or facilitate manuscript production, guaranteed publication, manipulation of editorial procedures, or other services that could compromise scholarly publishing standards. This commitment does not preclude legitimate collaborations with professional associations, universities, conference organizers, or other scholarly institutions that support academic dissemination, journal development, and the quality and reach of scholarly submissions.
JPEKA does not collaborate with consultants, agents, brokers, or service providers that sell or promote article-publication services, including promises of “fast-track publication,” one-day or expedited Letters of Acceptance (LoAs), bypassing or waiving editorial assessment, guaranteed acceptance, or the preparation of scholarly manuscripts on behalf of Authors. All manuscripts must be submitted by Authors directly through JPEKA’s official Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform. Manuscript-related communication must take place through OJS, the journal’s official email, or other official contact channels listed on the JPEKA website.
JPEKA does not sell or offer publication services through e-commerce platforms, social media, or unauthorized intermediaries. The journal cannot be held responsible for promotions, guarantees, representations, or publication offers made by unauthorized parties claiming to represent or act on behalf of JPEKA.
If an Author is found to have used third-party services in a manner that violates academic, research, or publication ethics, including unauthorized manuscript preparation, manipulation of the submission process, or other unethical publication assistance, the matter may be examined and appropriate editorial action may be taken under JPEKA’s applicable Publication Ethics statement and any relevant research-misconduct or post-publication procedures. Such action may include rejection of a manuscript still under editorial consideration or an appropriate post-publication response if the article has already been published.
In support of honest, transparent, and accountable scholarly publishing, JPEKA takes account of relevant principles and guidance from the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and seeks to uphold standards of scholarly quality, publication ethics, and academic integrity throughout the publication process.
The Publisher has no authority to interfere with editorial decisions. Editorial decisions are the responsibility of the JPEKA Editorial Team and must be based on scholarly quality, reviewer assessments, editorial evaluation, ethical considerations, and the journal’s applicable policies.
Authors, researchers, Reviewers, and readers are encouraged to obtain information about JPEKA only from the journal’s official website and authorized communication channels. Any suspected misuse, fraud, impersonation, unauthorized publication offer, or other form of misrepresentation involving the JPEKA name should be reported to the journal through its official contact information.
