Copyright Transfer Agreement

To enable the publication and dissemination of scholarly articles, the Journal of Political Islam (JOPI) requires the transfer of publication rights from the author(s) to the journal. This agreement establishes the license transfer for publication purposes to the Journal of Political Islam, while allowing authors to retain essential rights for academic and non-commercial uses.

The Journal of Political Islam encourages authors to share their work widely to support academic visibility and knowledge dissemination. The journal acknowledges the importance of allowing authors to utilize their published work for educational, research, and institutional needs.

Authors retain the right to:

• Use the article in classroom teaching, presentations, or academic discussions, and distribute copies to participants.
• Share the article with colleagues for scientific collaboration.
• Include the article in future compilations of their work.
• Incorporate the article into a dissertation or thesis.
• Reuse selected content in other publications, provided proper citation of the original work is included.
• Develop derivative, non-commercial works from the article, with attribution;
• Upload the article to personal or institutional open-access repositories for academic purposes.

By submitting a manuscript to the Journal of Political Islam, the authors acknowledge that upon acceptance for publication, they agree to transfer the copyright related to publishing and distribution to the Journal of Political Islam. 

Authors of accepted papers will be contacted via email to complete and return the Copyright Transfer Agreement.
