Archiving Policy

The Journal of Political Islam maintains electronic backup and ensures the long-term preservation of its journal content through the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN). This can be accessed via the Publisher Manifest.

PKP has established the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) to provide digital preservation for journals using the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform. The LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) program enables decentralized and distributed preservation, guarantees perpetual access, and safeguards the authentic original version of the published content. The PKP PN serves as a preservation solution for journals that are not part of other digital preservation services, such as CLOCKSS or Portico, ensuring their continued accessibility over time.
