PENGARUH DISIPLIN KERJA, LINGKUNGAN KERJA TERHADAP KINERJA KARYAWAN PADA PDAM TIRTA REMU SORONG PAPUA BARAT

Research factors that affect performance include work environment and work discipline. The work environment is a place where employees do their daily work. A conducive work environment provides a sense of security and allows employees to work optimally. The type of research in this research is descriptive quantitative research. Population is a generalization area consisting of: objects/subjects that have certain qualities and characteristics determined by the researcher to be studied and then drawn conclusions. Descriptive research is a research method that describes the characteristics of the population or phenomenon under study. So the main focus of this research method is to explain the object of research. Quantitative research methods can be interpreted as research methods based on the philosophy of positivism, used to examine certain populations or samples, sampling techniques are generally carried out randomly, data collection uses research instruments, data analysis is quantitative/statistical, with the aim of testing predetermined hypotheses. The analysis and discussion that has been carried out in the previous chapter, it can be concluded that after conducting research that tested the four hypotheses contained in this study, the results of testing the fourth hypothesis were as follows: a. The results of testing the first hypothesis show that work discipline and work environment together have a positive effect on the employees performance of PDAM Tirta Remu Sorong, West Papua. The magnitude of the effect is 94.6% and the influence of other variables outside the regression model is 5.4%. This is because all independent variables are variables that affect employee performance. b. The results of the second hypothesis test indicate that work discipline has a positive effect on the employees performance of PDAM Tirta Remu Sorong, West Papua. The better the work discipline, the higher the employee's performance. c. The results of the third hypothesis test indicate that the work environment has a positive effect on the employees performance of PDAM Tirta Remu Sorong, West Papua. The better the work environment, the better the performance shown by employees. d. The results of testing the fourth hypothesis show that the work environment has a dominant effect on the performance of PDAM Tirta Remu Sorong Papua Barat employees, so that improving employee performance can be achieved by creating a good work environment.
