Abstrak
Penelitian ini membahas estetika Tari Sandur Ronggo Budoyo Tuban dalam pementasan pada acara sedekah bumi oleh siswa SMPN 3 Tuban. Tari Sandur merupakan salah satu tarian tradisional warisan budaya takbenda kabupaten Tuban yang memiliki nilai estetika, keindahan gerak, dan makna simbolis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis elemen estetika yang terdapat dalam tarian tersebut, meliputi aspek gerakan, musik pengiring, kostum, dan kemampuan ekspresi yang merepresentasikan identitas budaya oleh para tokoh penari sandur, memberikan nilai tambah dalam mempertahankan dan memperkenalkan budaya lokal kepada generasi muda. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan observasi langsung dan wawancara dengan pelaku seni, pelatih tari, penari dan dokumentasi pementasan. Penampilan siswa SMPN 3 Tuban berhasil menampilkan keindahan dan keunikan Tari Sandur Ronggo Budoyo. Nilai-nilai yang terkandung diantaranya nilai budi pekerti, tolong menolong dan tenggang rasa.
