Vol. 8 No. 1 (2024): EduStream: Jurnal Pendidikan Dasar

This publication of EduStream: Jurnal Pendidikan Dasar, Volume 8 Number 1 (2024), presents a diverse collection of ten scholarly articles that reflect current trends and innovations in elementary education. The articles cover various themes aligned with the journal’s STREAM scope (Science, Technology, Religion, Ethno Pedagogy, Art, and Mathematics). Topics include early literacy challenges, differentiated learning in social studies, and the use of puzzle games to develop linguistic intelligence. Language and art are further explored through the analysis of a fairy tale as alternative teaching material. Educational leadership is also addressed through an article on principals' strategies in managing internal conflicts in schools.
This edition highlights technological advancements in learning, including the development of the “SIMEZA” application to improve students’ understanding of zakat—combining digital tools with religious learning. Environmental awareness is promoted through the implementation of the HERO Waste application in a Merdeka curriculum context. Pedagogical innovation is reflected in the use of TPACK-based flipped classrooms to cultivate students’ critical thinking and creativity. Additionally, a study on the development of crossword-based assessment instruments in social science provides practical contributions for classroom evaluation. Together, these articles underscore the commitment to fostering holistic and inclusive elementary education rooted in STREAM values.
