Post-Publication Discussion Policy

JP (Jurnal Pendidikan): Teori dan Praktik recognizes that scholarly discussion continues after an article has been published. Constructive criticism, clarification, and scholarly responses are important for strengthening the quality and reliability of published research.

1. Opportunities for Discussion

Readers, researchers, and members of the academic community are encouraged to raise substantive questions or concerns regarding published articles.

Post-publication discussion may address methodological issues, interpretations of findings, theoretical arguments, research limitations, ethical considerations, or other matters relevant to the scholarly contribution of an article.

2. Submission of Comments

Comments and requests for clarification may be submitted to the editorial team at:

[email protected]

Correspondence should include the article title, author information, DOI or publication URL, and a clear explanation of the issue being raised.

Comments must be supported by reasoned academic arguments and, where appropriate, relevant evidence or references.

3. Editorial Assessment

The editorial team will assess whether a submitted comment raises a substantive scholarly issue that requires further consideration.

Where appropriate, the editor may invite the original authors to respond or consult independent experts.

The journal reserves the right to decline comments that are irrelevant, abusive, defamatory, unsupported, or unrelated to legitimate scholarly discussion.

4. Publication of Responses

Where a discussion is considered relevant and beneficial to readers, the journal may publish an editorial clarification, response, commentary, or other appropriate notice.

The publication of correspondence or responses is subject to editorial assessment and does not occur automatically.

5. Concerns About Research Integrity

When post-publication discussion identifies possible errors, unreliable findings, or research misconduct, the matter will be considered under the journal's Publication Ethics, Allegations of Research Misconduct, and Correction and Retraction policies.

6. Commitment to Scholarly Dialogue

JP (Jurnal Pendidikan): Teori dan Praktik supports respectful, evidence-based academic discussion and recognizes the importance of transparency, accountability, and continuing scholarly evaluation after publication.
