JP (Jurnal Pendidikan): Teori dan Praktik publishes scholarly manuscripts that contribute to the advancement of educational theory, research, policy, and practice. Submissions must be original, relevant to the journal's focus and scope, and prepared in accordance with its author guidelines and publication ethics.
The journal considers the following types of manuscripts:
1. Original Research Articles
Articles reporting original empirical research in education. Studies may employ quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-methods approaches. Manuscripts should clearly explain the research problem, theoretical background, methods, findings, discussion, and contribution to educational knowledge or practice.
2. Review Articles
Articles that critically examine and synthesize existing scholarly literature on a clearly defined educational issue. These may include systematic literature reviews, scoping reviews, meta-analyses, or other structured reviews. Authors must explain their literature identification, selection, analysis, and synthesis procedures.
3. Conceptual and Theoretical Articles
Scholarly articles that develop, extend, critically examine, or integrate educational concepts, theories, and frameworks. Such articles must present a coherent argument supported by relevant academic literature and demonstrate a clear contribution to educational scholarship.
4. Educational Policy and Practice Analyses
Articles examining significant issues in educational policy, leadership, management, curriculum, teaching, learning, assessment, or institutional practice. These manuscripts must move beyond descriptive commentary and provide systematic analysis supported by appropriate evidence.
General Requirements
All manuscript types must demonstrate academic originality, analytical depth, clear contributions, and relevance to the journal's scope. The editorial team may determine whether a submitted manuscript is suitable for the journal and may request revisions to its structure or classification.
Manuscripts are subject to editorial screening and appropriate peer review. Acceptance depends on scholarly quality, methodological or analytical rigor, ethical compliance, and the significance of the contribution.
