Copyright Policy

Authors who publish in SJESE - STEAM Journal for Elementary School Education agree to the following terms regarding copyright:

  • Copyright Retention: Authors retain full copyright to their work without restrictions.

  • First Publication Rights: Authors grant SJESE the right of first publication under the terms of a Creative Commons Attribution license.

  • Non-Exclusive Distribution: Authors are permitted and encouraged to distribute the published version of their manuscript non-exclusively (e.g., post it to an institutional repository, academic networking platform, or include it in a book chapter), provided that an acknowledgment is made of its initial publication in SJESE - STEAM Journal for Elementary School Education.

Licensing Terms

All articles published in SJESE are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).

Under this license, anyone is free to:

  • Share: Copy, redistribute, and broadcast the material in any medium or format for any purpose, even commercially.

  • Adapt: Remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, including developing new pedagogical tools, instructional materials, or integrated STEAM learning frameworks.

Conditions under CC BY 4.0:

  • Attribution: Users must give appropriate credit to the original author(s) and source, provide a link to the license, and indicate if any changes were made. Credit must be given in a reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the licensor or SJESE endorses the user or their use.

  • No Additional Restrictions: Users may not apply legal terms or technological measures that legally restrict others from doing anything the license permits.

The licensor cannot revoke these freedoms as long as the user follows the license terms.
