About the Journal
STEAM Journal for Elementary School Education (SJESE) is an international, open-access, double-blind peer-reviewed journal published by the Elementary School Education Program, PSDKU, State University of Surabaya (UNESA), Indonesia. Established to foster academic and professional discourse, SJESE is published biannually in April and October, with the aim of advancing innovation in elementary school education through a strong emphasis on the integration of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM).
SJESE is dedicated to disseminating both theoretical and practical insights that support the development of STEAM-based pedagogical approaches and learning models at the elementary school level. The journal accepts original research articles, literature reviews, case studies, and conceptual papers that reflect academic rigor, methodological soundness, and educational relevance.

SJESE is an open-access journal, which means all articles are freely available online immediately upon publication. SJESE is independently published by the Elementary School Education Program, PSDKU UNESA, and does not receive funding from any commercial entity. There are no submission or publication fees.
Archiving Policy
To ensure digital preservation and long-term access, SJESE is part of the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) archival systems. This guarantees permanent archiving of the journal content.
