The STEAM Journal for Elementary School Education (SJESE) welcomes submissions of original, high-quality manuscripts that fall within the scope of STEAM-based research in elementary education. Authors must follow these guidelines to ensure consistency and maintain scholarly standards.
All manuscripts must be submitted via the journal's official Open Journal System (OJS) platform.
Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.
The manuscript must be written in English using clear academic language.
File format: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)
Length: 4,000–7,000 words including references and appendices.
Paper size: A4 (21 x 29.7 cm)
Margins: Top, Bottom, Left, Right – 2.5 cm
Font: Times New Roman, size 12 pt
Spacing: 1.5 line spacing
Alignment: Justified
Paragraph Indentation: First line 1.25 cm
Each manuscript should be organized as follows:
Title (max. 15 words, concise and informative)
Author Information (full names, affiliations, ORCID IDs, and email of corresponding author)
Abstract (150–250 words, including purpose, method, result, and conclusion)
Keywords (3–5 words or phrases)
Introduction (including problem background, significance, and objectives)
Literature Review (if applicable)
Methodology (research design, participants, instruments, data collection, and analysis)
Results and Discussion
Conclusion (including implications and recommendations)
Acknowledgements (optional)
References
SJESE uses APA Style 7th Edition for in-text citations and references.
References must be recent (preferably last 10 years) and relevant.
Minimum of 20 references, with at least 60% from peer-reviewed journal articles.
Use of reference management tools like Zotero, Mendeley, or EndNote is recommended.

All submissions are screened using plagiarism detection software.
Manuscripts with similarity index >20% will be automatically rejected.
Authors must adhere to ethical standards regarding authorship, data integrity, and conflict of interest disclosures.
Submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process.
The average time from submission to first decision is approximately 4–6 weeks.
Authors may be requested to revise their manuscripts based on reviewer feedback.
SJESE does not charge any submission or publication fees. The journal is fully funded by the Elementary School Education Program, PSDKU UNESA.

Authors retain the copyright of their work and grant the journal the right of first publication. The work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), which allows others to share, use, and build upon the work, as long as proper attribution is given to the original author(s) and source.
License of Publication Rights
Authors grant SJESE the non-exclusive right to reproduce and distribute their article in all media formats, including electronic and print, and to archive it in databases and repositories, while acknowledging the authorship and original publication in this journal.

By submitting the manuscript, the author(s) warrant that:
