Complaint Policy
The ASEAN Journal of Halal Industry (AJHI) is committed to maintaining transparency, fairness, and integrity in its editorial and publishing processes. Authors, reviewers, and readers who have concerns or complaints regarding the editorial process, publication ethics, or journal management are encouraged to communicate their concerns to the editorial office.
Types of Complaints
Complaints may relate to, but are not limited to, the following issues:

Allegations of publication misconduct, including plagiarism, data fabrication, or duplicate publication

Unethical behavior by authors, reviewers, or editors

Bias or unfairness in the peer review or editorial decision process

Delays in the editorial or review process

Conflicts of interest not properly disclosed

Issues related to copyright or intellectual property
Complaint Submission
Complaints should be submitted in writing to the editorial office of AJHI. The complaint must clearly state:

The name and contact details of the complainant

The manuscript title or article details (if applicable)

A detailed description of the issue or concern

Any supporting evidence or documentation
Complaint Evaluation
All complaints will be reviewed by the editorial team in accordance with the journal’s publication ethics and editorial policies. The editor may conduct an investigation, consult reviewers or editorial board members, or request clarification from the parties involved.
If the complaint involves the editorial team, the matter may be reviewed by the Editor-in-Chief or publisher to ensure impartiality.
Resolution
After reviewing the complaint, the editorial office will take appropriate actions, which may include:

Providing clarification or explanation regarding the editorial decision

Requesting corrections or revisions to the published article

Issuing corrections, retractions, or expressions of concern when necessary

Taking appropriate measures in accordance with publication ethics guidelines
AJHI strives to resolve all complaints fairly, transparently, and in a timely manner while maintaining the integrity of the scholarly publishing process.
