Article Withdrawal
The Journal of Social Philanthropy and Halal Research (JSPHR) is committed to maintaining the integrity of the scholarly record. Therefore, the withdrawal, correction, and retraction of articles follow internationally recognized publication ethics standards.
1. Article Withdrawal (Before Publication)
Authors may request to withdraw their manuscript before the article is formally published. A withdrawal request must be submitted in writing to the editorial office with a clear explanation of the reasons for withdrawal.
If the manuscript is already under peer review, the withdrawal request will be evaluated by the editor. Withdrawal at this stage is only permitted for valid and reasonable reasons, such as significant errors in the manuscript or ethical concerns.
Authors are strongly discouraged from withdrawing manuscripts that are already in the review process without valid justification, as this may disrupt the editorial workflow.
2. Article Retraction (After Publication)
An article may be retracted after publication if there is clear evidence of:
-
Plagiarism
-
Data fabrication or falsification
-
Duplicate publication
-
Ethical violations in research or publication
-
Major errors that invalidate the results and conclusions
In such cases, the journal will publish a retraction notice explaining the reason for the retraction. The original article will remain accessible but will be clearly marked as Retracted to maintain the integrity of the scholarly record.
3. Article Correction
If minor errors are identified that do not affect the overall validity of the research, the journal may publish a correction (erratum or corrigendum) to clarify the issue and maintain the accuracy of the published record.
4. Editorial Decision
All decisions regarding article withdrawal, correction, or retraction will be made by the Editor-in-Chief in consultation with the editorial board and, if necessary, external reviewers.
The Journal of Social Philanthropy and Halal Research (JSPHR) follows international standards of publication ethics to ensure transparency, accountability, and the reliability of scholarly publications.
