Author Guidelines

The Journal of Social Philanthropy and Halal Research (JSPHR) welcomes original research articles, review papers, and conceptual studies related to Islamic social finance, halal industry development, and Islamic economic practices. Authors are invited to submit manuscripts that contribute to the advancement of knowledge in these fields.

1. Manuscript Originality

Submitted manuscripts must be original works that have not been previously published and are not currently under consideration for publication elsewhere. Authors must ensure that their work is free from plagiarism and properly cite all sources used in the manuscript.

2. Manuscript Scope

Manuscripts should be relevant to the focus and scope of the journal, including but not limited to the following topics:

  • Islamic Social Finance

  • Halal Hospitality

  • Muamalat

  • Halal Social Responsibility

3. Manuscript Language

Manuscripts must be written in clear and academic English.

4. Manuscript Structure

Authors should organize their manuscripts using the following structure:

  1. Title – Clear and concise, reflecting the main topic of the study.

  2. Author(s) Name and Affiliation – Include institutional affiliation and email address.

  3. Abstract – Approximately 150–250 words summarizing the purpose, method, results, and conclusions of the study.

  4. Keywords – Provide 3–5 keywords related to the article.

  5. Introduction – Present the research background, problem statement, objectives, and significance of the study.

  6. Literature Review – Discuss relevant theories and previous research.

  7. Methodology – Explain the research design, data sources, and analytical methods used.

  8. Results and Discussion – Present the findings and interpret them in relation to the research objectives and existing literature.

  9. Conclusion – Summarize the main findings and provide recommendations or implications for further research.

  10. References – List all references cited in the manuscript.

5. Citation and Reference Style

Authors should use a recognized academic citation style (such as APA Style) and ensure that all references cited in the text appear in the reference list.

6. Plagiarism Screening

All manuscripts submitted to JSPHR will be screened for plagiarism using plagiarism detection software. Manuscripts with a high similarity index may be rejected.

7. Submission Process

Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal’s online submission system (OJS). Authors are required to register as an author and follow the submission steps provided on the journal website.

8. Peer Review Process

All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process conducted by independent reviewers to ensure the quality, originality, and relevance of the research.

9. Copyright and Licensing

Authors retain the copyright of their work and agree to publish their articles under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
