Author Appeal Policy

The Journal of Social Philanthropy and Halal Research (JSPHR) provides authors with the opportunity to appeal editorial decisions if they believe that the decision was based on a misunderstanding of the manuscript or an error in the review process.

Authors who wish to appeal a decision should submit a formal appeal to the editorial office within a reasonable time after receiving the decision. The appeal must include a clear explanation of the reasons for the appeal and provide detailed responses to the reviewers’ and editor’s comments.

Upon receiving an appeal, the editorial team will carefully review the case. The editor may consult the original reviewers, invite additional reviewers, or reassess the manuscript independently to ensure fairness and transparency in the evaluation process.

The final decision on the appeal will be made by the Editor-in-Chief. This decision is considered final and cannot be appealed further.
