Abstrak

Visibilitas digital pada instrumen Foi Doa memperlihatkan adanya pergeseran dalam cara budaya dipahami di ruang online. Representasi visual dalam media digital berperan kuat dalam mengarahkan persepsi audiens terhadap praktik tradisi. Metode netnografi digunakan untuk menganalisis konten dan respons pada dua kanal YouTube dengan gaya produksi yang berbeda. Pengamatan difokuskan pada perbandingan antara representasi sinematik dan dokumentasi keseharian. Keterlibatan audiens yang tinggi pada video sinematik tidak berkembang menjadi pemahaman musikal yang mendalam. Respons penonton lebih banyak berfokus pada aspek visual dibandingkan struktur bunyi dan fungsi spiritual instrumen. Dokumentasi sederhana tidak menunjukkan tingkat interaksi yang sebanding. Temuan ini menunjukkan dominasi elemen visual dalam membentuk persepsi audiens di ruang digital. Kondisi tersebut dibaca sebagai paradoks visibilitas, yaitu situasi ketika perluasan jangkauan melalui digitalisasi berjalan bersamaan dengan penyederhanaan pemaknaan. Dimensi musikal dan nilai spiritual cenderung kurang tercermin dalam respons audiens karena tidak mudah divisualisasikan. Representasi digital tidak hanya memperluas akses, tetapi juga membatasi cara budaya dimaknai.
