About the Journal

New Language Dimensions is a biannual journal published by the Department of English, Faculty of Languages and Arts, Universitas Negeri Surabaya. The journal invites high-quality submissions in the fields of language teaching, critical pedagogy, linguistics, literature, and cultural studies. Articles must be written in English to be considered for publication.

Our mission is to foster innovative research and discourse that bridges the gap between theory and practice in language and literature studies. We are dedicated to exploring the dynamic interplay between scholarly research and real-world applications, offering a platform for fresh perspectives and meaningful dialogue.

We welcome submissions from academics, researchers, educators, and practitioners who are engaged in advancing knowledge and practice within these disciplines. Join us in contributing to the evolving landscape of language and literature education.

The Editorial Board of the Journal of New Language Dimensions invites you to submit your manuscripts for the upcoming edition of this journal (Volume 5 Number 1, June 2024). 

 Deadline: 15 June 2024

The Editorial Boards have decided to publish 16 articles in one volume, starting from Volume 4 Number 1 June 2023. We believe that the decision is based on the high demand from the prospective authors as well as the commitment to provide wider space for publications not only in the area of English language teaching but also in English linguistics and literature. We are committed to maintaining and improving the quality of the articles by involving more qualified reviewers in the review process.

 New Language Dimensions is a peer-reviewed open-access journal and follows a double-blind review policy. The Journal covers some topics in the area of language teaching, critical pedagogy, language, literature, and cultural studies. It is published every June and December.
