Author Guidelines

New Language Dimensions (NLD) Journal welcomes original and unpublished manuscripts that contribute to the fields of Linguistics, Literary Studies, Translation and Interpreting Studies, and Language Teaching. Submissions must demonstrate originality, creativity, and innovation while addressing current academic and practical issues within these disciplines.

  1. Submitted manuscripts must be full-length original studies, including empirical research, theoretical explorations, or literary analyses. The manuscript should follow the standard structure: Introduction, which provides context, identifies the research gap, and states the objectives; Theoretical Framework and/or Methods; Results and Discussion, which should be supported by relevant literature; and Conclusions and Implications. Manuscripts must present new and significant findings, with discussions grounded in strong academic references.
  2. The manuscript should not exceed 6,000 words, excluding the abstract, references, tables, and figures. An abstract of no more than 250 words should summarize the research objectives, methods, findings, and conclusions. Authors must follow the journal’s template, which is available for download on the journal's website. Manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word (.docx) format.
  3. Manuscripts must be written in academic English and carefully checked for grammar, clarity, and coherence before submission. The Editorial Board does not provide language editing services, so authors are responsible for ensuring linguistic accuracy.
  4. All manuscripts must be submitted through the online submission system on the journal website. Submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process to ensure an unbiased evaluation. To facilitate blind review, the manuscript must not contain author names, affiliations, or acknowledgments. Author details, including names, affiliations, and corresponding author information, should be uploaded as a separate document.
  5. Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration or published elsewhere in any format, either electronic or print. Authors are responsible for proper citation and adherence to ethical research standards. Any detected plagiarism, data fabrication, or redundant publication will result in rejection. The journal follows COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines for ethical publication practices.

For further details, please refer to the journal’s submission guidelines and policies available on the official website.
