Article Processing Charge

New Language Dimensions charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) of IDR 500,000 (USD 30) for accepted manuscripts, covering peer review, production, and online dissemination. Financial assistance is available, including full waivers for international collaborative research and a 50% discount for authors affiliated with Universitas Negeri Surabaya (UNESA). The APC is payable only after a manuscript has been accepted following the peer review process. The fee is charged to the author, their institution, or their funding body.

The journal operates under a fully open access policy, enabling free, immediate, and unrestricted global access. Published content allows for distribution, adaptation, and commercial use, provided proper credit is given to the original authors and the work is shared under the same license.

Fast-track Policy

The journal offers an optional fast-track review service for IDR 250,000, ensuring completion of the peer review, editorial decision, and author notification within 3–4 weeks. To apply, authors must submit their full manuscript through the website and explicitly indicate the fast-track option, after which the editorial team will conduct an initial screening to evaluate the paper's quality and scope, with promising papers undergoing 1–2 rounds of accelerated review.

Notes: Authors must not pay any fees during the initial submission stage, only paying the IDR 250,000 fee after the manuscript passes the initial screening. Furthermore, paying for the expedited service does not guarantee publication, as authors are still required to complete all revisions, followed by a separate normal APC upon final acceptance, with no discounts/waivers applicable for this service.
