Jurnal Penelitian Pendidikan Matematika dan Sains (JPPMS), with online ISSN 2580-586X, is a scientific journal published by the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Negeri Surabaya. JPPMS is committed to maintaining independence, professionalism, transparency, and integrity throughout its editorial and publication processes. The journal aims to publish original and relevant research articles in the fields of learning innovation, assessment and evaluation, learning media, misconceptions, curriculum and philosophy, and educational psychology related to mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology education.

JPPMS is committed to ensuring that all editorial and publication decisions are made through appropriate scholarly evaluation. The acceptance or rejection of manuscripts is based on reviewers’ evaluations and editorial assessments, particularly regarding the originality, manuscript format, and alignment with the journal’s scope. No individual or external party should improperly influence editorial decisions or interfere with the peer-review process.

JPPMS does not endorse or cooperate with third-party individuals, agents, brokers, or service providers that offer manuscript writing, guaranteed publication, editorial manipulation, or other services that undermine academic integrity and established scholarly publishing standards. All manuscripts must be submitted by the Authors through the journal’s official submission system, in accordance with the applicable submission guidelines. If an Author is found to have engaged in practices that violate academic integrity or publication ethics, including unauthorized manuscript writing, manipulation of the submission or review process, or other forms of unethical publication assistance, the matter may be investigated by the Editorial Team. Appropriate editorial action may be taken in accordance with the journal’s applicable publication ethics and research misconduct policies. Such action may include rejection of a manuscript under consideration or appropriate post-publication measures if the article has already been published.

The Publisher, the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Negeri Surabaya, has no authority to improperly interfere with editorial decisions. Editorial decisions remain the responsibility of the Editorial Team and must be based on scholarly quality, reviewers’ assessments, editorial evaluation, ethical considerations, and the journal’s applicable policies.
