Open Access Policy

JPUS: Jurnal Pendidikan Untuk Semua (Journal of Education for All) is an open access journal. All content is freely available to the public immediately upon publication, without subscription, registration, or any access fee. This policy follows the principle that making research freely available supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

1. Free and Immediate Access
All articles published in JPUS can be read, downloaded, copied, distributed, printed, searched, and linked to in full text, free of charge and without prior permission from the publisher or the authors, subject to the license below.

2. License
All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0). Users may share and adapt the material for non-commercial purposes, provided that appropriate credit is given to the authors and the original publication in JPUS, a link to the license is provided, and any changes are indicated.

3. Copyright and Author Rights
Authors retain copyright of their articles and grant JPUS the right of first publication under the CC BY-NC 4.0 license. Authors may enter into separate agreements for the non-exclusive distribution of the published version, with an acknowledgement of its initial publication in JPUS.

4. Self-Archiving
Authors are permitted to deposit the submitted version, accepted version, and published version (PDF) of their article in institutional repositories, personal websites, or academic networking platforms, provided that the original publication in JPUS is cited and a link to the article’s DOI is included.

5. Publication Charges
JPUS does not charge authors for manuscript submission (IDR 0). Authors of manuscripts that have been formally accepted for publication after peer review are required to pay an article publication fee of IDR 250,000. Charges do not affect editorial decisions, which are based solely on peer-review outcomes and the quality of the manuscript. Readers are never charged for access. See Author Fees.

6. Permanent Identification and Indexing
Each article is assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) with the prefix 10.26740/jpus, registered through Crossref to ensure permanent and reliable linking. The journal is indexed in Google Scholar, Garuda, SINTA, Crossref, and Dimensions.

7. Archiving and Preservation
To ensure long-term access, JPUS content is archived on the journal’s OJS platform hosted by Universitas Negeri Surabaya, and its metadata is preserved through Crossref and Garuda. Should the journal cease publication, its content will remain accessible through the Universitas Negeri Surabaya institutional server.
