Journal History
JPUS: Jurnal Pendidikan Untuk Semua was first published in 2017 by the Department of Non-Formal Education, Faculty of Education, Universitas Negeri Surabaya, under its current title from inception.
From its early volumes through Volume 9 No. 1, the journal published 5 articles per issue. The journal subsequently expanded its publication capacity to 11 articles per issue to accommodate the growing number of quality submissions in the field of non-formal and lifelong education.
Beginning with Volume 10 No. 1 (2026), JPUS further expanded its publication capacity to up to 15 articles per issue, reflecting the continued growth in submissions and the journal's strengthened editorial and peer-review capacity.
In 2025, the journal underwent a change in editorial leadership, with Monica Widyaswari, M.Pd. succeeding Widya Nusantara, M.Pd. as Editor-in-Chief. Following this transition, Widya Nusantara, M.Pd. continued to contribute to the journal in the role of Managing Editor, working alongside M Fahmi Zakariyah, M.Pd. to strengthen the journal's day-to-day editorial operations.
In 2026, JPUS: Jurnal Pendidikan Untuk Semua was granted new Sinta 5 accreditation by the Directorate General of Science and Technology, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, under Decree No. 355/DST/D.D1/HM.01.01/2026, dated 24 July 2026. This accreditation is valid from Volume 8 No. 1 (2024) through Volume 12 No. 2 (2028).
Beginning in 2026, JPUS: Jurnal Pendidikan Untuk Semua adopted a policy requiring all submitted manuscripts to be written in English, reflecting the journal's commitment to reaching a broader international readership and strengthening its academic visibility.
