Focus and Scope

JPUS: Jurnal Pendidikan Untuk Semua is a multidisciplinary scientific journal in the field of education that publishes empirical research, conceptual studies, and innovative practices related to nonformal education, community education, lifelong learning, and education for all.

The journal provides an academic platform for researchers, academics, practitioners, and policymakers to disseminate studies concerning educational theory, practice, innovation, policy, and technology that contribute to improving educational quality, accessibility, equity, inclusiveness, and sustainability.

Nonformal education, community education, and lifelong learning constitute the primary scholarly orientation of JPUS. However, the journal also welcomes manuscripts from other educational disciplines, provided that they demonstrate clear relevance to education for all, lifelong learning, community development, educational innovation, inclusiveness, or the improvement of educational quality.

The scope of JPUS: Jurnal Pendidikan Untuk Semua includes, but is not limited to:

• Nonformal and Community Education: nonformal education programs, community-based education, program management, implementation, development, and evaluation.

• Lifelong Learning and Education for All: lifelong education, learning society, educational access, participation, equity, and democratization of education.

• Adult and Continuing Education: adult learning, andragogy, continuing education, older adult education, and community-based learning.

• Community Empowerment and Development: community empowerment, capacity building, social participation, community development, and social transformation.

• Family and Parenting Education: family education, parenting education, parental involvement, family literacy, and child development.

• Training and Human Resource Development: vocational learning, competency development, workplace learning, entrepreneurship, reskilling, upskilling, and professional development.

• Literacy and Life Skills Education: basic, digital, financial, health, environmental, and media literacy, life skills, and twenty-first-century competencies.

• Educational Technology and Learning Innovation: digital learning, artificial intelligence, mobile learning, blended learning, immersive learning, instructional media, and digital platforms.

• Inclusive Education and Educational Equity: inclusive education, education for marginalized and vulnerable groups, disability education, gender equity, and educational access.

• Curriculum, Learning, and Learner Development: curriculum, learning strategies, assessment, evaluation, motivation, self-efficacy, learner engagement, guidance, and learner development.

JPUS welcomes manuscripts using quantitative, qualitative, mixed-methods, research and development, evaluation research, action research, case study, systematic review, literature review, and conceptual approaches.

Manuscripts from various educational disciplines are welcome as long as they demonstrate a clear contribution to nonformal education, lifelong learning, education for all, community empowerment, inclusive education, educational innovation, equity in learning opportunities, or the improvement of educational quality.
