The Journal of Cultural Guidance and Counseling (Volume 1, Number 1, 2025) marks the first edition of this peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal, published by the Guidance and Counseling Program, Faculty of PSDKU, Universitas Negeri Surabaya. This inaugural issue presents original research articles and theoretical studies that explore the intersection of cultural values and counseling practices. Topics include multicultural counseling, indigenous approaches, cross-cultural psychological frameworks, and culturally responsive educational guidance. Published biannually (June and December), each article undergoes a rigorous peer-review process to ensure scholarly quality and relevance in the field of cultural guidance and counseling.
