Narcotics and hard drug abuse remains a legal and social issue that requires integrated handling. Mitigation efforts are not only carried out through repressive law enforcement, but also through preventive measures in the form of legal counseling for the community. Pojoksari Village, Sukomoro District, Magetan Regency, is one of the locations for legal counseling activities aimed at providing an understanding of the dangers of narcotics and hard drug abuse, namely Double L pills, especially among teenagers. This study aims to analyze the implementation of legal counseling as an effort to prevent narcotics crimes and analyze the role of legal counseling in supporting legal awareness in the community in Pojoksari Village. This study uses an empirical legal research method with a socio-legal approach. This approach is used to examine the relationship between legal provisions regarding the prevention of narcotics abuse and ongoing practices in the community. Research data were obtained through observation, interviews with the Head of Pojoksari Village as an informant, activity documentation, participant attendance lists, and literature studies. All data were analyzed descriptively and qualitatively, linking empirical findings to legislation and criminal policy theory, crime prevention theory, and legal awareness theory.
