  • Innovations, Interventions, and Perspectives in Special Needs Education

    This special issue highlights contemporary research and practical innovations in special needs education, with particular attention to hearing impairments, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and multiple disabilities. The selected articles explore the development, implementation, and evaluation of instructional media, early intervention strategies, communication approaches, and family-based supports designed to enhance learning outcomes, behavior management, and quality of life for children and individuals with special needs.

    Through qualitative studies, program evaluations, literature reviews, and learning media development, this issue emphasizes Innovative educational tools (flipbooks, pocketbooks, academic programs), early intervention and family involvement, language, communication, and auditory development, and inclusive and holistic perspectives on multiple disabilities. Collectively, these studies contribute both theoretical insights and practical guidance for educators, therapists, families, and researchers working in inclusive and special education settings.

  • Enhancing Inclusive Education: Addressing Barriers and Supporting Learners with Disabilities in Diverse Educational Settings

    This issue highlights the persistent challenges faced by students with disabilities in accessing equitable and inclusive education across various learning environments. Despite efforts toward inclusive practices, many students with physical, intellectual, sensory, and cognitive impairments still encounter barriers such as social stigma, limited use of adaptive learning media, and inadequate instructional support. These obstacles not only affect academic achievement but also hinder students' motivation, participation, and overall development. Addressing this issue requires a strategic and multidisciplinary approach, including teacher preparedness, the integration of accessible technologies, early intervention programs, and the implementation of inclusive education policies that ensure all learners can thrive in supportive and accommodating settings.

Through these studies, the issue aims to contribute to more effective educational, vocational, and societal inclusion strategies for people with disabilities.
