Kondisi fisik yang bagus dan ketrampilan dasar atlet harus dibina dengan baik supaya dapat mendukung pencapaian atlet secara optimal. Tujuan Dari penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui kondisi fisik serta mental di cabang olahraga bola tangan putri yang bergabung pada Puslatda KONI Jawa Timur untuk persiapan PON XX Papua 2021. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dan intrumen penelitian yaitu tes dan pengukuran. Hasil data menunjukkan bahwa, kekuatan otot perut pada tes sit up atlet putri bola tangan pemusatan latihan daerah Jawa Timur masuk kategori baik dengan rata-rata 69,2%. Tes chin up termasuk kategori rendah dengan rata-rata 46.1%. tes sprint 20 m masuk katagori kurang dengan rata-rata sebesar 38,5%. Daya tahan pada tes bronco atlet putri Bola Tangan Pemusatan Latihan Daerah Jawa Timur masuk kategori kurang dengan rata-rata 23,1%. Fleksibilitas atlet Bola Tangan putri Pemusatan Latihan Daerah Jawa Timur, masuk kategori baik dengan rata-rata 92,3% pada tes sit and reach; 100% dalam uji fleksibilitas pergelangan kaki kanan; 100% pada tes fleksibilitas pergelangan kaki kiri sedangkan pada fleksibilitas pergelangan kaki kanan, fleksibilitas kelenturan kaki kiri dan kelenturan tubuh bagian atas belakang sebesar 0. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini, kondisi fisik atlet putri bola tangan pemusatan latihan daerah Jawa Timur berada dalam kategori kurang. Hasil tes yang menunjukkan kategori baik yaitu terkait tinjauan kekuatan otot perut, kekuatan otot lengan, koordinasi serta fleksibilitas.
