Bima Loka: Journal of Physical Education is committed to protecting the privacy of all individuals who interact with this journal, including authors, reviewers, readers, and registered users. This Privacy Statement explains what personal data we collect, how it is used, and how it is protected.

2. How We Use Your Data
Personal data collected through this journal is used exclusively for the following purposes:
  • Managing the manuscript submission, peer review, and publication process
  • Communicating with authors, reviewers, and readers regarding submissions and editorial decisions
  • Publishing author names and affiliations alongside accepted articles
  • Sending journal announcements, calls for papers, and issue notifications to registered users who have opted in

We do not use personal data for any commercial purpose. Personal data will never be sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing or commercial purposes.
3. Data Confidentiality
All personal data is handled with strict confidentiality:
  • Reviewer identities are never disclosed to authors (double-blind peer review)
  • Author identities are never disclosed to reviewers during the review process
  • Manuscript content submitted for review is treated as confidential and is not shared beyond the editorial team and assigned reviewers
  • Access to personal data is restricted to authorized editorial staff only
4. Data Storage and Security
This journal is hosted on the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform managed by Universitas Negeri Surabaya (UNESA). All personal data is stored on university-managed servers and is protected by appropriate technical and organizational security measures. The journal complies with the data management policies of UNESA.
5. Your Rights
Users have the right to:
  • Access the personal data held about them
  • Request correction of inaccurate personal data
  • Withdraw consent for the use of their data for non-essential communications (e.g., unsubscribe from journal notifications)
