Electronic Filing (Digital Archiving and Preservation)

Repertoar Journal is committed to maintaining the accessibility, integrity, and continuity of its scholarly publications. The journal recognizes digital archiving and preservation as essential components of responsible scholarly publishing, supporting continued access to published research for the academic community.

1. Electronic Archiving and Storage

Repertoar Journal utilizes Open Journal Systems (OJS), hosted by Universitas Negeri Surabaya (UNESA), as its primary electronic publishing and archiving platform.

Published articles and their associated bibliographic metadata, including article titles, author information, abstracts, keywords, and publication details, are maintained within the institutional OJS infrastructure.

The journal provides access to its published content through its official website: https://journal.unesa.ac.id/index.php/Repertoar.

2. Digital Preservation Strategy

Repertoar Journal recognizes the importance of long-term digital preservation in safeguarding scholarly publications against technological changes, data loss, and disruptions to electronic access.

Currently, the journal relies on the institutional OJS infrastructure of Universitas Negeri Surabaya for the electronic storage and management of published content.

The journal acknowledges that institutional server storage alone does not constitute an independent or geographically distributed preservation system.

Repertoar Journal may adopt additional digital preservation services, including the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), LOCKSS, or CLOCKSS, subject to institutional authorization, technical readiness, and applicable participation requirements.

3. Self-Archiving and Institutional Repositories

Repertoar Journal supports the dissemination of scholarly knowledge through responsible self-archiving practices.

Authors may deposit and share the published versions of their articles in institutional repositories, academic repositories, personal academic websites, and other noncommercial scholarly platforms, provided that such activities comply with the journal's copyright and licensing policies.

Authors are encouraged to include the following information when depositing their articles:

  • The complete article title and author information.
  • The journal title, volume, issue, and publication year.
  • The Digital Object Identifier (DOI), when available.
  • A direct link to the original publication on the Repertoar Journal website.

Self-archiving must preserve the integrity of the published article and provide appropriate acknowledgment of its original publication.

4. Accessibility and Publication Continuity

Repertoar Journal seeks to maintain public access to its published scholarly content through the official OJS platform of Universitas Negeri Surabaya.

In the event of server maintenance, technical disruptions, or changes to the publishing infrastructure, the availability and restoration of journal content depend on the institutional infrastructure and applicable technical support arrangements.

The journal recognizes the importance of developing sustainable preservation arrangements to strengthen the continuity of scholarly access.

5. Policy Evaluation and Development

Repertoar Journal is committed to reviewing its digital archiving and repository policy in response to developments in scholarly publishing, digital preservation technologies, and institutional infrastructure.

The journal will consider additional preservation mechanisms when appropriate to strengthen the long-term accessibility, reliability, and integrity of its scholarly publications.
