Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to Repertoar Journal must comply with the journal's Focus and Scope and Author Guidelines. Submitted manuscripts must demonstrate scientific merit, originality, or novelty appropriate to the journal's academic focus.

All submitted manuscripts must be written in clear, accurate, and academic English. Authors whose first language is not English are encouraged to have their manuscripts reviewed for grammar, clarity, and readability before submission. Professional English-language editing services may be used when necessary. Manuscripts must not have been previously published or be under consideration for publication elsewhere.

All submitted manuscripts must be free from plagiarism. Authors are encouraged to conduct similarity checks using appropriate plagiarism-detection software, such as Turnitin, before submission. The editorial team also conducts similarity screening using Turnitin as part of the initial editorial evaluation.

Repertoar Journal applies a maximum acceptable Similarity Index of 25%. Manuscripts exceeding this threshold must be revised and reassessed before proceeding to peer review. Similarity reports are evaluated by the editorial team, and the Similarity Index alone does not constitute proof of plagiarism.

Submitted manuscripts are evaluated by at least two expert reviewers from the journal's peer-reviewer team. Reviewers provide scholarly comments and recommendations intended to improve the scientific quality of the manuscript. When necessary, a third reviewer may be appointed to provide additional evaluation.

The journal employs a blind peer-review system to support impartial and objective manuscript evaluation.

The final decision regarding manuscript acceptance rests with the Editor-in-Chief, with consideration from the Editorial Board when necessary. Editorial decisions are informed by reviewers' recommendations but are not determined solely by those recommendations.

The Editor-in-Chief oversees the scheduling and assignment of accepted articles to publication issues, taking into consideration the order of acceptance, the geographical distribution of authors, and the thematic focus of an issue where applicable.

Publication Frequency

Repertoar Journal was first published in July 2019.

Since 2019, the journal has published issues twice a year, in January and July. At least 30 articles are published annually.

Policy of Screening for Plagiarism

All manuscripts submitted to Repertoar Journal must be original works that are free from plagiarism. Submitted manuscripts must not have been previously published or be under consideration for publication in another journal or publication venue. Authors are responsible for the originality and authenticity of their submissions.

Submitted manuscripts are screened for textual similarity using Turnitin as part of the editorial evaluation process. Repertoar Journal establishes a maximum acceptable Similarity Index of 25%.

Manuscripts exceeding the established similarity threshold will be returned to the authors for revision and may be reconsidered after satisfactory correction and reassessment.

The Similarity Index is a screening indicator and does not independently establish plagiarism. The editorial team evaluates the nature, sources, and context of matching material. Manuscripts containing confirmed plagiarism may be rejected regardless of their Similarity Index.

Serious or repeated violations of publication ethics may result in appropriate editorial action in accordance with the journal's Anti-Plagiarism and Similarity Policy and other applicable publication ethics policies.
