About the Journal

Jurnal Riset Biologi dan Aplikasinya - Journal of Biological Research and Its Application (e-ISSN 2655-9927) is an Open Access Scientific Journal published by the Department of Biology, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Negeri Surabaya in collaboration with Assosiation of Indonesian Biology Educators and Researchers (HPPBI) and Gendivsia (Genetika dan Biodiversitas Indonesia). This journal is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes research articles in the biological aspects of tropical biodiversity, including ecology, animal and plant systematics, microbiology, zoology, botany, biotechnology, and ethnobiology, with a particular emphasis on the Indonesian context and global perspective (See Focus and Scope) . This journal publishes manuscripts written in English, two issues each year (March and September) in online versions.

ARTICLE SUBMISSION PROCEDURES

Before submitting your article to JRBA, please make sure that your article is written according to available Journal Template. All manuscript is suggested to be submitted online to editorial team (via online submission). Representing Author must fill Statement of Manuscript Authenticity and attach it during submission process in the Supplementary Files section or  jrba@unesa.ac.id.

The manuscript is the author's original work and is free from plagiarism. Scanning similarity is done by using Turnitin. The similarity index is expected to be less than 25% and not clustered in one paragraph. Authors are required to fill out and submit a Letter of Approval (the template can be downloaded at Link). The Letter of Approval is uploaded in the Supplementary File at the time of submission of the manuscript. Manuscripts are written in English.
