Policy Update on the Use of Generative AI

New Language Dimensions now includes a formal policy regarding the use of generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, DeepL, Grammarly, etc.) in manuscript preparation. Authors are permitted to use such tools with full transparency and critical oversight, but AI tools may not be credited as authors.

All authors must include a “Declaration of Assistive Technologies in the Writing Process” in their manuscript if any AI tools were used.
