Vol. 8 No. 2 (2024): EduStream: Jurnal Pendidikan Dasar

This edition of the journal features 10 articles that explore various innovative approaches to teaching and learning in elementary education. The topics align with the journal's STREAM scope (Science, Technology, Religion, Ethno Pedagogy, Art, and Mathematics). Several articles focus on science education, such as using project-based learning with recycled materials to teach the water cycle and developing interactive media for understanding human growth and development. Technological integration is highlighted through the use of augmented reality storybooks and animated videos to enhance reading comprehension and literary appreciation among students.
Character and religious values are reflected in discussions on the School Literacy Movement as a tool to foster discipline and independence. Ethno pedagogy is represented through the use of folklore, such as the Turkish tale "Nasretin Hoca," to enrich cultural understanding. Artistic elements are evident in the creative use of visual media and animation in language learning. Additionally, mathematical learning outcomes are addressed through differentiated group investigation models. Collectively, these articles demonstrate a strong commitment to improving elementary education through meaningful, relevant, and inclusive practices that prepare students for 21st-century challenges.
