Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation and role of the Village Legal Aid Post (Posbankum) in supporting access to justice for the community of Bandar Village, Sukomoro District, Magetan Regency, as well as the efforts undertaken to optimize it. The research employs an empirical legal method with a socio-legal approach. Primary data were obtained through interviews with the Village Head, Village Secretary, and village officials, supplemented by observation and documentation, while secondary data were derived from legislation, books, and journal articles. The results indicate that the Bandar Village Posbankum is available as an initial legal service facility; however, its implementation remains limited because not all community members understand its existence, functions, and the procedures for obtaining assistance. Optimization efforts have been carried out by creating a Bandar Village website featuring legal infographics on Complete Systematic Land Registration (PTSL), paralegals, divorce under Islamic law, and inheritance registration, alongside information about the Posbankum; links to this site are disseminated via QR codes at the Bandar Village Hall. While optimization through digital media can enhance public legal understanding, it still requires direct outreach, information updates, and sustainable management.
