IDIJ invites manuscript submissions on disability-related issues from all disciplines, fostering an interdisciplinary approach to advancing disability rights and the social inclusion of individuals with disabilities
The International Disability Innovation Journal invites manuscript submissions that explore disability-related issues through diverse disciplinary lenses. Rooted in the conviction that innovation thrives at the intersections of knowledge, the journal fosters an interdisciplinary approach to understanding, challenging, and reshaping the systems that impact the lives of persons with disabilities.
We welcome original research, theoretical contributions, critical reflections, and practice-based insights from fields such as—but not limited to:
- Disability studies is a foundational framework for analyzing the social, cultural, political, and historical dimensions of disability.
- Inclusive education-addressing inclusive learning environments and accessibility in academic contexts.
- Innovation and Assistive Technologies for the development of inclusive, adaptive, and enabling solutions.
- Accessibility and Accommodation-insights from design, technology, education, law, and policy to create inclusive environments through universal design, assistive technologies, and equitable practices
- Intersectional Approaches to Disability-explore how disability intersects with race, gender, class, sexuality, and other identities to shape unique experiences of marginalization and access.

IDIJ publishes twice a year. The first one was published in July, and the second one by December
