The population of Indonesian every year has increased. The increase in population resulted in the need for food to be higher but not by the availability of land. Efforts can be made to increase the planted area to marginal land such as limestone soil. One of the food crops that can grow on marginal land are soybeans. This study aimed to determine the effects of Pseudomonas fluorescens, Azospirillum sp., and local microorganisms against the growth of soybeans in calcareous soil. This experimental study used a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with seven treatments including: control, MOL, Pseudomonas fluorescens, Azospirillum sp., MOL+Pseudomonas fluorescens, MOL+Azospirillum sp., and MOL+Pseudoonas fluorescens+Azospirillum sp. with three repetitions. There are several parameters observed, namely growth parameters that include plant height, number of leaves, root length, and wet biomass. The development of root nodules includes the number of root nodules, the wet biomass of root nodules, and the number of active root nodules. The productivity of soybean crops includes the number of pods and biomass pods as well as the N dan P content in soybeans. Data were analyzed using one-way Anova and continued with Duncan’s Test. The result showed that the administration of Pseudomonas fluorescens, Azospirillum sp. and local microorganisms had a significant effect on soybean growth and productivity. The combination treatment of Pseudomonas fluorescens, Azospirillum sp. and local microorganisms exert the best influence on the growth and productivity of soybeans in the calcareous soil.
